A member of Covenant OPC, Brighton, Michigan, is suffering from kidney failure and is seeking if another member within our denomination might be willing to donate a healthy kidney. A prospective donor should possess A+ blood to ensure a healthy organ match. According to the National Kidney Foundation, we only need one kidney to live a healthy life, and most donor surgeries are done laparoscopically, with typically a two-week recuperation period.
