Did Mary (the mother of Christ) die? If yes, where? When? Was she buried? Where was she buried? And lastly did she go to heaven?

Answer

I point you to the Scriptures, our only infallible rule of faith and practice, inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16), and answer according to that Word. As to the first question, she most certainly did die. "It is given to all men to die…" (Heb. 9:27). Scripture gives us no reason to believe any but Enoch and Elijah were spared death.

As to the last question, she most certainly did go to heaven, for we read in Acts 1:14 that she was in the upper room with the rest of the disciples and others praying. She therefore was a believer and thus she died believing in Jesus. All who trust in Christ and his death for their sins are saved. Have you done so?

As to the questions of when she died, where she died, whether she was buried (seems likely) and where, Scripture does not tell us, and there are no reliable historical sources. Traditions exist that she moved to Ephesus with the apostle John, to whose care Jesus committed her. That is speculation, however.
