SHORT-TERM MISSIONS &
DISASTER RESPONSE

July 24 – August 14, 2017, Team Praha, a team sent by the Youth Committee of the Presbytery of Southern California to serve in the Czech Republic with OP missionaries Jerry and Marilyn Farnik, engaged in three weeks of ministry that included a VBS for children whose parents were attending a biblical counseling conference, a Mountain Adventure with teens and young adults that focused on friendship evangelism, and a VBS held in Prague.

The team of 13, including Missionary Associate and Team Co-Leader Kathleen Winslow, came from the following OP churches:

• Calvin OPC (Phoenix, AZ)
• Christ OPC (Verde Valley, AZ)
• Grace OPC (Carson, CA)
• Faith OPC (Long Beach, CA)
• Branch of Hope OPC (Torrance, CA)

• Mission OPC (St. Paul, MN)
• Emmanuel OPC (Kent, WA)
