S.T.O.R.M. Report Vol. 7 Special Edition #4. OPC Disaster Response has determined to mobilize a hurricane relief effort in North Carolina, in particular to address the needs of 6 flooded OPC homes in New Bern, and 6 flooded OPC homes in Wilmington.
Regional Disaster Response Coordinator Tim Hopper has provided daily, detailed reports on the work in North Carolina at Facebook. The disaster response crew that came together to work with him in the immediate aftermath of the storm did tremendous work.
We are now ready to make a national call for volunteers, and are prepared to receive donations. The cost of gutting flood damaged homes and rebuilding will be substantial, and we encourage you to give as you are able.
