Are the days of COVID coming to an end? We don’t know, but it does look like opportunities for travel, and therefore for short-term missions, are becoming more available. To that end we would like to make you aware of some opportunities for service in the summer of 2022.
The Uganda Mission continues to value the help of able-bodied volunteers for manual labor at the mission.
Our missionaries in Ukraine are planning to host their Leopolis Green Internship Program again this summer. This opportunity is for upper class college students, seminary students and young, reformed families seeking to gain experience in cross-cultural ministry, mercy ministry, children’s ministry, and university student ministry within the context of a church planting community. Check our website in the coming months for dates for this internship opportunity.
Team Praha is back…hopefully! There aren’t official dates yet, but plans are coming together for teams to once again be able to go to the Czech Republic in the summer of 2022. We are looking for mature young adults (16-30s) who are eager to lead VBS and share their faith with Czech teens and young adults.
And closer to home, the Boardwalk Chapel has a few weeks in August available for church teams. They are also accepting applications for summer staff for both the summers of 2022 and 2023!
You can see details for each of these opportunities, as well as stay up-to-date with any other opportunities that become available in the coming months, on our website: opcstm.org
